We first heard Peter Schuyff (of the Woodwards) play at one of our own shows at Pakhuis Wilhelmina last month. It was a funny “Later with Jools Holland” type setting. Peter played some of his beautiful songs and made quite an impact on us. Vocals and guitar under perfect control, with some powerful lyrics. Haven spoken to him shortly, his story turned out to be quite suprising. He lived in New York and worked as a renowned painter for a long time, and has only been making music for a few years. Wow!
