This dutch band will presenting their new album, A Dog and Pony Show, in a couple of weeks. This is certainly worth mentioning, and supporting, seeing as these gentlemen have been steadily coming out with grade A music for quite some time now. Great songs like Into Routine, Surfing on a Rainbow, The World of Tomorrow, A Little Lost, Not Any of That and A Good Year For The Robots, which have inspired us, and have proven that really great music really can come from dutch soil.

We first met frontman Odilo Girod this year, as he was doing his solo project Chop Wood (of equally high quality as Coparck’s). He told us then that the new Coparck album was progressing steadily. As Laurens even heard some of the new songs privately, and was duly impressed, anticipation built up. Now I’ve heard the album, and it’s  really exiting. One song especially, Hopeful, really hits home for me. As digital instruments slowly morph into real ones, Odilo lays down some beautiful vocals. I’ve got it on repeat.
