Amazing 80s discovery: Oingo Boingo

I came across a band called Oingo Boingo. Yeah, it’s really their name. I heard their pure 80s sound in a song about how much the singer likes little girls. Pretty out there. The 80s produced some crazy stuff, i know. The amazing discovery was when i found out i already knew, and use to love one of their songs as a kid. A lot of songs you know from the films you might have seen as a kid, but never knew it was actually a band making the music. I remember this track from a flick called ‘Weird Science’. It was about these nerdy kids that manage to create a woman through their weird science. Hilariously bad. And so, the title track turned out to be by Oingo Boingo. What a name! Read More »
